You Can Do It!:The Merit Badge Handbook for Grown-Up Girls
by Lauren C Grandcolas Posted by Picasa
This is my Zooba pick for February, I'm really looking forward to getting this. Though now I'll have to get the You Can Do It! Workbook.
**Update**
It has finally arrived, and I can't wait to read it and get creative.

The Element Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures: The Ultimate A-Z of Fantastic Beings From Myth and Magic
by John Matthews & Caitlin Matthews Posted by Picasa
This was Cindi's Valentines Day present. I purchased it about a month ago because I managed to find it in hardback and on-line it's only available in paperback. I figured Valentines Day was a good day as any to give it to her.

The Complete Guide to Gay & Lesbian Weddings
by Keith C David Posted by Picasa
This is Cindi's Zooba pick for February, we figured with the fast approaching wedding it couldn't hurt to have another book to help us out.
**Update**
The book came thought I haven't had time to look at it. Between doing homework and trying to read the fertility book so we can start charting takes up most of my time. I hope to skim it for ideas before our "team" meeting on Feb 25th.

Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health
by Toni Weschler, MPH Posted by Picasa
I went to Barnes and Noble with a friend today and couldn't resists buying this book. I've heard good things about it for years now and figured what better time to start reading it than now. We ordered a basal thermometer last week that arrived today with the same Taking Charge of Your Fertility trial software, too funny.

Permanent Partners: Building Gay and Lesbian Relationships The Last by Dr. Betty Berzon Posted by Picasa
This is Cindi's January Zooba pick. I'd had it on one of my many Amazon wish-lists for awhile and am looking forward to reading it. Anything that will help us continue our wonderful relationship is a good thing. Plus with so much focus in society on creating lasting straight relationships, it's nice to have something that focuses on our unique relationship.
**Update**
I've been reading this a little bit at a time for a few weeks. I really like it, she is very insightful and offers great advice in working through your own "stuff" in order to be completely dedicated and committed to our same-sex partnerships. I was sad to hear that the author recently passed away.

Strength Training for Women by Joan Pagano Posted by Picasa
This is my January Zooba pick. I've wanted this for awhile, I really like the look of DK books and am exited to incorporate weights to my yoga practice [which I plan to do more frequently this year.]
**Update**
When this book arrived it came with another copy of the same books as well as a Grammar Reference book. They were somebody else's orders. I emailed Zooba and they said just to keep them and I wouldn't be charged. Crazy! Cindi said she was going to give her boss the duplicate copy of this book and we'd keep the other one-will be posting later.
**Update**
This book looks excellent! It will be a great tool in helping me develop my own strength training routine, I just have to find the time and motivation to do them!
